Story
As a tribute to the memory of my darling wife Jackie, I plan to walk from John O'Groats to Lands End, during the summer of 2009. As someone who get's out of breath running for a bus, it's going to be a fairly challenging enterprise! I plan to start from John O'Groats on June 3rd, and estimate it will take me approx 11-12 weeks to cover the 1150 or so miles. Any money raised in association with my walk will be in aid of The Meningitis Trust, in recognition of the invaluable help and support they offer to anyone affected directly, or indirectly, by this cruelest of diseases.
